Aligning with my soul's calling

I am participating in Joanna Powell Colbert's Seasonal Practices for Candlemas (or Winter turning to Spring). An important part of this is journalling, something with which I have an on-again off-again relationship.

Tonight, with journalling prompt in hand, I drew the nine of air from Joanna's Gaian Tarot deck as a leaping off point. I won't share everything I wrote but, after a few thoughts, this piece arrived on the page.

Though storms may gather
And thunder roll,
Listen.
Close my eyes, not in fear
But to focus.
Listen.

World around me
World within me
Come together
Gently blend

Soul is speaking
But to hear it, I must
Listen.
