This journal prompt was to write an incantation or charm to bring a lover to one's side. (I may take this one down later but for now...)
Sometimes the words flow freely. Sometimes there are more cross-outs than anything. Partway through writing this, it suddenly became very important to me to "do it right" - words have power.

Breezes carry
My whispers wide
Drawing my love
To my side
Rivers, pathways
Weather wild or fair
Protect my love
Who passes there
Elements gather
My love to me
My arms are open
And my heart free
